		<description>I wonder when the fundies will start snickering that he is no longer an atheist -- they love to snicker that about atheists and freethinkers who have died.

Or even come up with some deathbed-recantation story, no matter how often other such stories have been successfully debunked.</description>

		<description>I heard him speak in San Franciscon in October, at the Freedom from Religion Foundation convention, where he was awarded the Atheist in a Foxhole award. He was passionate and eloquent, and I will never, ever forget his voice as he said, of his tour in Vietnam: We did that. I've seen it. I was there.</description>
