I'm afraid I don't know anything about that, no. However, if my site is being blocked in China, it should be relatively simple to circumvent the filters. If the problem persists, you could try using anonymizing proxy software like Tor or Psiphon.

Adam, I'm afraid I've had some trouble with this website in China. Do you know if you're being blocked there (I'm in the UK on holiday at the moment).

A nice Xmas present to be able to read here again before I go back!

Congratulations on the excellent statistics; it is well deserved. This is one of the few blogs that I visit on a regular basis whose only draw is superb writing. Keep it up!

Let the intelligent, carefully-crafted and often consonant writing continue! And see about writing that book, if you have a minute or two next year.

Perhaps this is not the best way to bring this to your attention, but what do you think of the "Blashpemy Challenge"?

It was a malformed regular expression, actually. But either way, it's ridiculous that a minor typo could render the whole site inaccessible. I like PHP, but it's far too touchy about things like that.

Thanks for pointing out the comment preview problem! That was a casualty of some new anti-spam measures I instituted; I didn't realize it was broken. It should be fixed now.

So, that's what happened. Man, I hate when I put semicolons in the wrong place, or forget to put them where they need to be.

Now you only need to fix the comment preview section.
