		<description>While I won't pretend to grok Dr. Miller's view that scientific thought and religious thought aren't mutually exclussive, he is a bit of a hero of mine sceintifically and ethically.  

I think that the group of scientists, teachers, students, etc.  who are theistically minded &lt;u&gt;and&lt;/u&gt; proponents of evolutionary biology (Darwinian, not ID, not creationism) are our most underappreciated allies in the battles to keep God out of our science classrooms -- and good science in.

Thanks for the notice.  I can't hear the live webcast, because unfortunately my computer and speakers aren't on speaking terms right now.  I hope they will have the lecture available for download in the near future; I don't want to miss this.

P.S. I saw on the link that Dr. Miller currently lives in Rehoboth, MA.  What a small world!  I used to live there.  It's a beautiful part of the country...I'm jealous.</description>
